I heard him leave the apartment and then I sat there with Anthony.

I awoke to the sound of my door closing. Thinking someone was in my house I pulled my Walther PPK out from under my pillow and aimed it toward the door that lead to the hallway. I slowly moved towards the door
with the gun up. I wasn't about to take any chances in this city, especially after the murder of a drug lord. I slowly turned the handle of the bedroom door then pulled it open. No one was seen in the hallway. I walked as stealthily as I could and then cleared the entire apartment. On the table was a brown back. A note was taped on it saying, "A present from Anthony. Enjoy the gifts you two." Inside the bag were 2 Beretta 92G Elites with silencers. That Anthony I thought, what a guy.

I sat sipping my beer savoringly while I continued my story.

"Well, I went over to this Saudi's house. He and I went way back and stuff. He called me and wanted me to do a job for him. Well I went to the meeting and there were 4 guys, looking like those guys on the news during the war with the black and the Ak's. Then I walked towards them and they level their guns at me and shit. I'm like woah woah woah. Then he gives me the cash and I got back to Abdel's. I get there and he hands me a couple stacks of large bills. I'm like 'what's this for?' and hes like 'well you could have died so here's compensation'. I'm like "what the hell, how could i have died? and hes like 'well look in this little bag. So I did and in it were all the diamonds. The case I gave them was empty!" I said enthusiastically.

Well, things were starting to fall into place. We were starting to gain the power and earn the money we had dreamed about for ever. The only real price that we were paying that we knew about was energy. Alot of this work was tiring. I finished my beer and said;

"Well Jody I don't wanna be a party pooper but my ass is dragging. I'm gunna go to bed. I'll see you tommorow man. We'll have some work to do."

And with that I staggered and stumbled down the hallway to my room where I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillows.

I got up after Vin left and did the same. I went to my room, took off my shoes and went into a well deserved sleep.
